I was hooked from the beginning. My heart racing with Rosemary’s as she fought to escape the disembodied voice in the house, my heart breaking for Keith who lived without conscience, only to find his in the afterlife. Rosemary is a wonderfully human character that almost any woman could relate to. Tragic and self doubting, lustful and curious, she is the black cat in us all. Keith is the cocky guy at the bar that you hate but secretly pray to yourself that he takes you home with him. Even dead he’s a better man than most! I fell for him immediately. The chemistry and wit between Rosemary and Keith is immediate and nonstop. They’re banter and concern for one another is captivating and endearing.
